A film by Didier MARTINY

1999 France - Comedy

Jascha Steg is a world famous cellist. His word tour with a Schumann concerto brings him to perform a concert in Evian. There, his parents (whom he rarely seems anymore) come with his uncle to see him perform. Ana a violinist in the orchestra, is there with her husband. Jascha who is madly in love with her doesn't accept the situation. These two days spent by the lake, then high in the nearby mountains on a tempestuous picnic, will drastically transform his life, and perhaps with way of playing,. All the characters reveal their inmost dreams and wildest excesses in this cruel comedy : a film about impossible reunions between an established artist and the people close to his heart.
